Learn via Osmosis
If you consult a dictionary, learning via osmosis is not as far fetched as it first sounds.
According to Google the definition of osmosis is as follows:
Based on definition two, we learn via osmosis all the time and perhaps most notably when we are asleep in a dreaming state where our brain takes all of the meaningful information from the given day and synthesizes it with what we already know. When we sleep our brain thus fits everything we’ve learned together, creating new synaptic connections between existing concepts and allowing us to make sense of novel information by placing it in contexts we’re already familiar with.
